![]() ![]() However someone voicing the opinion of hey we shouldn't be doing this around kids' this is the problem is bad. And its funny that you don't see a teacher telling kids how to have gay sex and how to get sex toys as a problem. Teaching your kid how to stimulate a mans prostate is.by many many people. Teaching your kid history is I don't think ever argued against. ![]() Getting something "shoved down your throat" usually applies in scenarios where majority disagrees with something and is having to deal with situation regardless. Man that is some audacity from a disillusioned nutball.ġst if you think teaching kids in elementary school how to twerk and showing up shirtless is okay you may be a pedophile.Ģnd Its not your job to educate my child and asking that the right to educate my child on sexuality and gender stays with the parent is not an outlandish request.ģrd I think you may be just be mentally handicapped. I don't think even Christian parents are okay with that.Īnyway, here I am, 15 years later, being okay with mangling fetuses, so didn't really worked out. I wonder if that thing is still ongoing in the class and if parents know. Motherfuckers are pretty crazy on that side.Īnd yes, I am absolutely for age appropriate everything, you probably shouldn't be dumping graphic violence on 12 year olds regardless of context. It genuinely traumatized me, I even had some people leave the class crying. I have never seen such fucked up things even in horror movies. Now you can say it's just reality, but not really, because teacher preloaded us with incorrect information how all the fetuses are fully functional humans and understand/ fight back. Not only that, I went to this Christian class in my school (long story), this is btw public school, not private, and in one lesson it was basically anti abortion propoganda and they showed us bunch of VIDEOS and pictures of aborted fetuses. All pretty good advice regardless of your sexuality. It also addressed a lot of myths and you would be surprised but even at age 16 some people who come maybe from more iffy background have a lot of misinformation on fertility and stds, as in oral and butt sex isn't lifehack and you can still get pregnant while having sex on your period etc. When it comes to sex ed that was more cringy since this is 2013 and everyone has porn access, but telling to use condoms and avoid stds is all good fun. Then in later grades it gets more age appropriate and at least in my school we had biology that went in depth but was absolutely 100% not sexual, unless you think speaking scientifically about how plants and mammals reproduce is sexy. I think at least in my school at 4th grade we were given basic schemes of uterus and penis and an awkward teacher who says you might menstruate or get excited, so kids don't have Carrie scene. Wtf do you think 3rd graders are learning? It's like most bare bones biology, not butt sex. Under your logic a teacher talking about his/her same sex partner in any context is pushing an agenda on children. ![]() The problem with your logic is that it's simply inconsistent because to you one is agenda because it's a minority perspective/different, but the other which is commonality is not agenda because it's simply the current standard. So I guess the question would be what else is agenda? is a kid talking about his two dads agenda? is the two dads coming to pick him up pushing an agenda? is any media that shows any sort of alternative perspective or home life an agenda? Acknowledging who they are/their origins? Gay people exist, adopted children exist, they live in society them talking about their lives or wanting to create literature about their lives is not an "agenda" it's simply them exercising their right to be involved in societal norms, like, y'know. What are your thoughts on the situation? This is probably going to become a topic of discussion in the next couple of days, so I’d like to hear y’all’s thoughts. “Cancel culture” is becoming a largely ineffective tool, and is becoming more of a galvanizing force than anything.Conservative rhetoric is a lot more popular than people in online spaces realize. ![]() Personally I have 3 major thoughts on the matter. Many big content creators are responding to this, either supporting Nick (like Dr. He recently responded to a clip of Anti-LGBT protestors attacking pro LGBT protestors during a school board vote on recognizing June as Pride month with a tweet saying “leave the kids out of this, that’s the problem.” (Link: ) Nick then had his Call of Duty bundle removed from the Call of Duty store as Activision’s response to his tweet. Context: NickMercs is a very popular twitch streamer who mainly streams Call of Duty and Apex Legends. ![]()
